Application

Used in several applications. Activated groups in Allyl Agarose SFR may be used to encapsulate biomolecules in rare-cell, transcriptomic research (Iain C. Clark, et al, 2024) Additionally, the lower-melting point compared to native agarose can be used for pore separations of medium-sized biomolecules (proteins and DNA). Allyl Agarose SFR has been used to create customized, tailored pore-size mixed hydrogels with acrylamide.
