NHS copolymer kit to create an ultra-thin, antifouling surface matrix with ultra-low background and reduced nonspecific binding. Reactive groups are tailored for protein binding, but will work in oligo research.

Functional group's advantage:
When probing for protein targets, MCP-2 offers a very low background with low nonspecific binding.
After coating, our DMA-NHS copolymers drive amine-coupling of bio-targets to many surfaces for analysis (microarrays, beads, glass, gold, HDPE, PP, teflon).

Compared with the MCP-4 kit (indicated for probing oligonucleotides), MCP-2 is recommended for protein targeting.
General Application:
Useful as a coated linker molecule.
For example, capturing targeted proteins, DNA/RNA, antibodies, or probing for NA sequences.

This product is sold as an individually packed polymer in PP container, as a full kit which contains accessory solutions.
Purchase of this kit includes Blocking Solution, Spotting Solution (for technologies needing spotting) and Coating Solution.

For US customers, kits are shipped at ambient temperatures, as the polymer is stable in transit.

Upon receipt, store the polymer at -20C (freezer).
Store all solutions at 4C (refrigerator temperatures) to promote longevity.
When stored properly, MCP2/4/2F retain quality for at least two years.
